Shelbyville Sport Shop has been on a mission the last few days; to win a national championship.

The 15-Under AAU basketball team easily distanced themselves in Tuesday's national tournament at Winston-Salem, N.C., winning by an average margin of 38 points in two games.

Sport Shop, who went 5-0 in pool play, won handily over Lake Erie (Mich.) Lightning 90-60. In game two Sport Shop easily swept the Tulsa Magic, 88-42, outscoring the Oklahoma team by 32 points in the first half.

Lee Stewart led Sport Shop's offensive effort against Tulsa with 17 points. She scored 10 of those in the first half.

Sport Shop takes on the Ohio Hoopstars today.
